apple wireless keyboard unboxing and installing

One week ago I bought the Apple Cinema Display 27 Inch and I used my old cabled keyboard from Apple. This keyboard was like 2 years old and the “T” key didn’t work properly So I decided to go to the next Apple Store to buy the wireless keyboard.

As you can see, it cost me 79 swiss francs which is equal to 69€.

There was no real packing. I only got it with this transparent cover.

I had to open this screw in order to replace the battery that was shipped as it was empty. Just use a flat screwdriver and replace the AA batteries.

I expected from Apple that I only have to press the on button on the right side of the keyboard to use it, but that didn’t really work. Click on the Bluetooth Symbol on the upper right of your screen and you should see the Apple Keyboard. Click on it:

In order to connect your keyboard to your Mac, you have to enter the numbers shown on the screen. Confirm by pressing the enter button.

That’s basically it. You should now be able to use your keyboard like your cabled one. I hope this helps as I didn’t exactly know how to connect the keyboard to the Mac. If you have questions or feedback, please post it in the comment section. Cheers

Xcode Debugger has exited with error code 45

I jailbroke my iPhone some days ago with the GreenPois0n Tool and installed all my stuff. When I was using my iPhone for Developing I found out that the debugger always exited with error status code 45. First I thought it was a problem with my app but then I tried with a non-jailbroken iPhone 3GS and it worked without errors. I debugged the output code and found out that the “PhotoAlbums+” application which gives you the ability to create photo folders crashed all the time. I uninstalled this app from Cydia and now I can continue with development. Just as information if someone has the same problem

Meine erste iPhone App – Bireweich

Es ist so weit. Am 13. August 2009 ist meine erste iPhone Applikation im Appstore erschienen. Inzwischen habe ich schon das erste Update geschrieben und heute an Apple freigegeben.

Die Applikation kommt mit dem Namen Bireweich. Bireweich ist eine Webcommunity betrieben von Daniel Gerber. Die Applikation vereint die verschiedenen Channels wie Youtube, Twitter, Website etc. Zusätzlich kommt sie mit einem smarten RSS Reader.

Anfangs hat die Applikation 1.10 gekostet, ab dem nächsten Update wird die Applikation gratis zu erwerben sein.

… das ist meine erste Cydia Repo. Nach rund 1000 Tagen und Nächten steht sie endlich. Grundsätzlich habe ich dies Repository aufgesetzt, damit ich mein Winterboard Theme auf einen Server legen kann, um somit von überall darauf Zugriff zu haben.

Bedenkt, die Repo ist immernoch im Teststadium, und sollte von euch noch nicht benutzt werden. Hier schon ein mal ein paar Eindrücke:

Update 1: So, meine Cydia Repo ist nun einsatzbereit, und die Fehler bei der Installation mit dem DS_Store File wurde gefixt. Über Feedbacks wäre ich dankbar!

Update2: Leider gibt es noch Probleme beim Upgraden, d.h. wenn ich eine neue Version des Themes release. Dies wird heute gefixt.

Update 3 [Montag, 16.02.2009]: Probleme mit dem Upgraden wurden gefixt. Mit den Ringtones gibt es noch Probleme mit den Rechten, weshalb sie nicht abgespielt werden können. Wenn jemand eine Ahnung hat, warum die Rechte bei der Installation geändert werden/auf 0700 gesetzt werden, bitte mit mir Kontakt aufnehmen. Danke!

Macbook Pro 2008

Am 27. März, nachdem ich mit der AFK (Allgemeine Fackkenntnisse Mediamatiker) fertig bin, werden ich und Genc uns einen Macbook Pro 15″ kaufen. Bis dahin sollten wir auch das Geld zusammen haben ;)
